Diversity of members, partnerships and the global society; and
Support for teacher/educator leadership
Our Mission
SASUP is a non-profit professional organization which provides resources, professional development and advocacy for the Professional Development School model in teacher education. An annual SASUP conference functions to support and advocate for collaborative partnerships across the P-12 and IHE community as a center for inquiry that leads to the discovery and sharing of knowledge that shapes educator practice and leadership.
Statement by the Leadership of SASUP in solidarity with our national organization, the National Association of Professional Development Schools (NAPDS)
As educators, we are called to respond to racism and racial inequities in our communities and schools. It is also our duty to support our students as they become self-actualized people who are actively aware of the larger world. We know this is not an easy task. SASUP and NAPDS are committed to being allies and advocates in the continued fight for racial equity and social justice. Read the full statement by the NAPDS Leadership Team.
